How to make C3 theme

Prepared
Tools Needed :

1. Carbide.ui Series 40 Theme Edition you can download this software forum.nokia.com. But you must register first, do not forget to select the Carbide.Ui (Series 40) (125 Mb). Download Carbide.ui
2. Carbide.ui Series 40 Theme Edition Compact UI Plugins. Plugin for nokia C3. You can download it here Do not forget to select the 6th Edition (Compact UI) V 1.1 (3 Mb
3. Images editing software

Install  Compact Plugins

Select Windows -> Preferences-> Plugins -> Management

1. buka Carbide
2. Choose file – Create New Themes

• Give a name for your theme, then choose Copy an existing theme and click Browse button.

• Find the ‘theme.xml‘ file, it is located inside the C3 Template

Click the finish button, and now you have my Nokia C3 theme template imported into carbide

   

• Make sure you change the plugin in Compat plugin. Because, if you don’t change the plugin, the theme won’t work well

• And now you can create theme for you C3.

When you finish create your theme, package the theme by choosing Tools – Create New Package.
